June 26, 2008 edition of MKE

MKE was a free weekly entertainment tabloid published by Journal Sentinel Inc., the parent company of Milwaukee’s major daily newspaper, the Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel. I worked on the editorial staff at MKE from February 2007 until JSI decided to pull the plug July 10, 2008. 

My week-to-week duties at MKE included writing the nightlife, arts and festival calendar highlights, writing the movies page, writing timely preview items, producing multi-media slide shows, formulating story angles for reporters, managing the events database, and basically performing as a jack-of-all-trades content producer.
